Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree required in Communications, Radio/Television, Journalism, Business Administration, Educational Administration, or a related field.
Master's degree in any of the above mentioned fields preferred.

Experience Requirements: Minimum of seven (7) years management experience required, working in a media or higher education setting, directly related to media operations or cable television management.
Demonstrated experience in current cablecast/broadcast technology, delivery systems, program distribution and FCC guidelines required.
NOTE: Part-time experience will be counted as half of full-time experience; for example, two (2) years of part-time experience will equal one (1) year of full-time experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Working knowledge and experience in running a TV station and/or television production and programming
Knowledge of the new media as related to multi-media dynamics
Ability to work in a team environment for successful outcomes
Strong leadership, organizational and motivational skills
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Proven problem-solving and decision-making ability
Ability to develop policies and standards for services rendered
Ability to conceptualize potential programming ideas and bring them to fruition
Demonstrated decision-making ability
Ability to utilize the computer for word processing and management information systems
Ability to work within an educational community with unique internal culture
